The fish were collected by a television camera, Mark Deeble, who works for David Attenborough on his television documentaries. The fish spawned in a container during the recording of one of that programs and later the mud was sent to Peter Brown. They're from Mackinnon Road K2015-MD, Kenya, which seems to be the most inland location of this species. - Paco Casado 2021 |
