C. undulata growing from tiny pieces of the root

If you disturb a well established plant you are probably going to find a lot of tiny broken off tiny pieces of the root ("rhizome" actually). Just throw them in a bare tank that gets light and each one will become a new plant. They grow pretty quickly for a Cryptocoryne.
